I pride myself on offering a range of comprehensive services tailored to meet your unique needs. Customized Programming: I understand that every pregnancy and postnatal recovery is different, which is why I provide customized fitness programming to meet your specific needs. I will work with you to design a strength training program that is tailored to your goals, fitness levels and any physical limitations 1:1 Feedback: My personalized coaching approach extends to our 1 on 1 feedback sessions. I believe that individual attention and guidance are essential in ensuring that you meet your health and fitness goals. I will provide you with personalized feedback on your progress, form and technique, allowing you to optimize your training and achieve optimal results. This will be provided through private video coaching calls and chat through the Everfit training app. Resource Library: I am committed to providing you with a wealth of information and resources to support your journey. Educational materials will be provided through the Everfit app, all aimed at providing you with the tools and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your health and wellness during your motherhood journey.

  • Do I need to have experience strength training?
    Absolutely not! This is a skill that can be acquired through proper guidance. All you need is the motivation to begin :)
  • Do I need to be pregnant or postpartum to join your program?
    Not at all! Not at all! While I specialize in pre and postnatal coaching, these strategies can benefit women at any stage of life.
  • Do you focus on preventing diastasis recti?
    Diastasis Recti occurs when the muscles in the middle of your abdomen separate during pregnancy. This is a completely normal occurrence, and it affects everyone to some extent during pregnancy. However, there are several strategies we can employ to address this issue. By strengthening your core muscles and incorporating specific breathing techniques, we can help you manage intra-abdominal pressure effectively, preventing the condition from worsening during pregnancy and promoting faster postpartum healing.
  • Can you help reduce my pregnancy pains?
    Yes! Pain is NOT a requirement of pregnancy. There are many exercises we can incorporate to target common aches and pains so that you are more comfortable during your pregnancy.
  • How fast can I return to competing postpartum?
    Everyone's journey is unique, shaped by factors like your athletic background, the specifics of your pregnancy, and any complications you may have experienced. During pregnancy, our focus will be on preserving and possibly even enhancing your strength while also preparing for childbirth. After giving birth, our approach will involve a methodical progression to rebuild your strength and readiness for activities such as lifting weights and high-impact exercises, ultimately helping you regain your athletic abilities. I will provide you with strategies to attentively listen to your body, ensuring a safe and efficient return to your athletic pursuits.
  • Is it safe to train for hypertrophy (muscle gain) while pregnant?
    Absolutely! With the right approach, you can indeed maintain or even enhance your strength and muscle mass during pregnancy. To achieve this, we'll focus on fine-tuning your training, optimizing your nutrition, and, most importantly, prioritizing your recovery. However, it's important to remember that pregnancy isn't the time to set personal records. Instead, it's a unique opportunity to develop a profound connection with your body. During this significant phase of your life, we'll work together to help you learn how to listen to your body and cater to its specific needs.
  • What qualifications do you have?
    I hold a General Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and have further specialized in Pre and Postnatal fitness training through Mamaste Fit. My fitness journey spans over a decade, during which I've gained experience in a diverse range of strength sports, including Strongman, Crossfit, and Competitive Powerlifting. In fact, I had the honor of competing at the IPF World Powerlifting Championships in 2019. Moreover, I can relate to the unique challenges of juggling athletic pursuits and motherhood, as I am also a parent to a young toddler.
